Hi, is it okay to use CC sound pack? im afraid it could cause some trouble for lichess?

It's perfectly okay for you to use them. If they didn't just use free stock sounds (I bet they did), they might be able to ask Baluk to remove them but he's in Hungary and could tell them to get fucked

IANAL, but I think it could not cause any trouble at all for lichess.

These sounds are played back locally. The script is also external to lichess, and is neither hosted on the premises, nor is it affiliated in any way with the site. The only one really at risk is Baluk himself, as he is distributing them.

If lichess were to include them in the webapp without permission, I wouldn't be surprised if ChessCube levelled a legal threat at lichess. But that is obviously not going to happen, since lichess's sounds are better anyway than ChessCube's loud, obnoxious tapping. :)
