my computer has a ac adapter warning

I am currently using a dell laptop and it said that if i dont replace the ac adapter of 45W or higher, then the battery will not charge and it will lag a lot and it is already lagging on sites. I dont have money so i cannot replace anything. :(

Sell your lichess account and then make new account

There should be cheap batteries available on ebay amazon or another website, I know you stated you have no money but thats probably the cheapest.

Check thrift stores.you might find an adapter for a very cheap price.

It sounds like your CPU is slowing its processor speed to conserve energy use.
