I have noticing lately extreme server latency with often "Reconnecting" info with as well UI "choking" whenever trying to open page with new forum topic, new puzzle etc. I believe I'm not along.
- What my causing it except actual server?
- Over-streaming? What resolution/size in second is allowed per user? Is there a limit?
- How many useres are allowed to be connected at the same time?
Haven't been able to get a game or look at studies all day. This has never happened in a year and half.
Have not been able to make moves in my games for about two days now.
#4 Try to clean up all history and locally download files from browser and try then to reload the site. Also proxy and firewall setting may influence on unexpected behavior (generally speaking).
At peak times (highest user amounts in the day) lichess is having a hard time dealing with the amount of users. We have solutions coming but it will be a little bit still. In this massive amount of user increase many other websites are struggling also. Please be patient. Thank you.
Hi fastlearner i have just done this (i think) and it seems to have made no difference. Also i have this problem on all my devices.
Hi Sazed i have just switched wifi off on my phone and was able to make a move. But i can't move on any device if connected to my router. Is my router being throttled in some way?
Ah if it's a local issue you would have to diagnose. If it worked before without any issue, you may be your having local internet issues. Try other websites to determine this.
Other websites are working fine i was wondering if lichess would be throttling my router as i have been playing a lot of correspondence games.
