Knights are pretty epic. It's also fun to control diagonals with bishops like a sniper
My favorite piece:King
pawns. the number and the weird capturing rules makes them extremely useful for attack, defense, and restriction of the opponents pieces. also En passant
The bishop, because once you get them on those diagonals, they snipe everything in their way.
