Who are the strongest antichess players on the site?

Well, do players get the LM title when they have a 2250+ rating in 3 checks, King of the hill, or 960?

I assume that they do. Why would antichess be different? Antichess is just as hard to master as all the other variants.
I'd argue that it's not as hard as all the other variants, especially when you consider that the variant is nearly solved. Most openings are a forced win.
It's a variant like all the other variants, so the people who are very good at it deserve to be LM's. Why would it matter if it's not as hard? An average Joe would not be able to get a 2200+ rating.

Then why is your rating in the 1400s?

I have an average of around 1700 rating in all variants, but my antichess is 1500.

It is harder than you think.

tisnjh is right, no mattter what the variant, it's hard to get a rating high enough to be a "LM" rating, in *any* variant.
I don't i'd wear a title with pride, that tell me i'm a Master at giving away my pieces lol.

I think thibault is right. The LM title shouldn't be given to just anyone, but you should be rewarded for achieving that high of a rating in a variant.

Then again, don't ask me. I just play regular chess and 960 :)

Yeah, don't ask, you, Bikfoot, you haven't even played a single antichess game. Why did you even comment?
I find that the 1800s and higher are all very good at antichess. Making 2200 was hard, and 2300 was even harder. I think that should be worth something
I agree, bones.

It is *very* hard, it doesn't matter what variant. It is hard to achieve 2250, no matter what the variant, especially to keep it for 20 rated games in a row.
Anti-chess is objectively easier than normal chess, provided one has an abundance of free time and a good memory.

The only rational first move for white to make is e3, as other opening moves are demonstrably suboptimal (c4, g3 and Nh3) or immediately losing (every other first move). The only variations which are not completely solved from white's optimal first move are the 1.e3-c5 and 1.e3-b5 variations. Despite not being solved, they provide white with a substantial advanage. Every other e3 variation can be forcibly won by white.
