Variant with 4 person chess?

Hey everyone!

Is it possible to make a new variant on lichess.org where we can play 4 person chess? This could make lichess.org more outstanding in the competition of the chess websides.

I dont know how hard it will be to code ,but i think lichess.org coders can manage it in somehow! :)

At the end and It will also do the chess more interesting and funnier!

It's one of the most popular variants. The only issue is that it would be significantly difficult to code. One day, perhaps.

Well the site is new and unfortunately is mostly empty. We need to get more players there. Get there 3 friends and you can play bughouse.

I'd love to play some variant with 2 vs 2 players.

Would prefer to try it out in a regular chessgame though. Each player get every second move.

Bughouse and crazyhouse seems complex but maybe I could try that out too.
