my report of bugs and request for variants

hey guys thanks for the great free chess site. this interface is very clean and professional. there is a wealth of content and activities. I especially like the analysis feature, when in correspondence games its very helpful to go to the analysis page and check out the possible consequences of a given move.

the main bugs I noticed are:
castling is permitted after king has been checked. obviously this is not permitted under official chess rules.
several times lag has been so bad that a move I made was never completed and so time ran out. I wasnt able to take back the move or make another move, but lichess server did not recognize the completed move and so I lost when the time ran out. not a big deal but something for you guys to be aware of.

I want to thank and commend you ladies and gentlemen for offering so many chess variants. I enjoy the option of playing three check, horde, 960, etcetera when I need a break from chess proper. I have read some of the threads asking for capablanca chess and bughouse/crazyhouse, and I understand that those are technically infeasible at this time. obviously the lack of even more variants does not diminish the experience. I merely wanted to say that if at some future date, capablanca and/or crazyhouse/bughouse become available, I would be one of the users who enjoy playing those variants frequently.

thanks for a great chess experience!
Lichess is super, but as mentioned in #1 when we have less time, suppose 1 second, if we make a move and time runs out, Lichess doesn't recognize the completed move. Once I could have checkmated my opponent, however, just after I made my checkmating move, my time ran out. Lichess did not recognize the completed move so I lost. By the way, chess is just a game, not life so don't need to be so serious about it!

You should re-read the rules.
