[Bug?] Time warning in bullet games

I just played a couple of hyperbullet games and noticed I got a time warning sound already at 10 seconds remaining. Is this new or not intended? Previous was at around 3 seconds I think.

I know time warning sound differs according to the time control length, but it definitely shouldn't be at one third of a given time in 1/2+0 games.
Yes, can confirm. Clock becomes red. Getting paranoid with 10 sec left. ;)
I do not think it is a bug, as it is the same for classical : warnings now start at 1 minute left, whereas earlier on they started only at 20 seconds left.
I guess it'd be ok for a 1+0 game, but not for 30 seconds. It basically goes wild immediately...
VariantLurker: it definitely shouldn't be at one third of a given time in 1/2+0 games.

I agree, time beep was perfect and now speed chess has got an extra obstacle. I dont like it.
I like the new way. It's just not habitual now, but it's more comfortable, you don't miss time. That would be even more good, if there would be two notifications. One at 10 seconds, and another at 3 seconds. Anyway, it's more comfortable with the notification on 10 seconds.
I don't know, time warning is way too early to my taste. You get it, start panicking, realise you have lots of time left and then lose on time because of that.
yeah, plus i am used to 3 sec. so that feels better to me too. i think my opponent has 3 sec when it turns red, so i sac pieces for check but he had 10 sec, so he mates me.
Exactly as Chessplayer1909 said (#8). Time warning serves as a serious warning when you have to use all your tricks to snatch a win in the last possible moment.

But this... starting to sac with 10 secs remaining is just bullet suicide.
I wish lichess would change the time warning to the way it was before. I would win many more games that way. I am sure many people agree with me that the old warning system was better. Ibam just thinking that if many people opt to keep it the way it was, will lichess possibly change it back.
