How about a trophy for registering on Lichess?
Maybe lichess could introduce a new trophy that would be awarded for unusual and impressive achievements. Community could suggest a player (like in this case) and analyze each suggestion individually.
In this case, it's not only about participating in the tournament, or achieving impressive result considering their rating (btw, i don't think 1800 is a low rating...), or playing the most games, or actively playing for 24 hours straight. It's all those things combined what makes it worth admiring and congratulating.
My next concern would be proving that they (he / she, i don't know) have indeed played all those games. There could have been more players playing from one account, sort of like chess relay race.
If their achievement is legit, then i really do believe it deserves an acknowledgement and not only in a form of a petition.

The pole should have had an "I don't know/care " option.
How about yet another option for "Anyone who plays 500 or more games in a 24 hour period". Games under 20 moves long do not count. Computer games do not count. Only rated games count. Bullet games do not count either.

a diehard marathon trophy is a idea. i was ill in the end of the marathon after eleven hours and 45minutes of playing amazing that someone can play so long around 23/24hour i dont think i will play a marathon anymore

I'm not entirely sure playing 24h non-stop should be specifically rewarded, to be honest... it will either encourage "shortcuts" to be taken by multi-playing an account, or not really healty behaviour, neither of which seems particularly worth a trophy
I do believe the idea of 'achievements' was listed among the features on an official lichess strawpoll a little while ago. What do people think of this idea?
