Then what was the use for scientists to research if earth was flat or not if many peoples don't even believe that earth is round.

The Bible doesn’t support a flat earth. And cherry picking random verses to try to “prove” that isn’t going to get you anywhere.
Especially because all verses used in “support” of this are in English. I recommend looking at the Bible in its original language and then you’ll see using religion to justify flat earth is not a good idea.
