You also have minority attack possibilities. Basically with this line black equalizes completely and sometimes gets an advantage.

Yeah so like ShaneTrain said I just play early c5 and take so I can play a position I am used to. I definitely prefer the Caro kann btw.
I play the Benko against c4-d4 so in dont really see it, the idea dies on the spot. But just closing up the long diagonal and keep it closed for the queens bishop does the trick.
