hi! i have some difficulties when i play against the grunfeld .mainlines gives very technical games which are difficult to play with white.So,what should i play to avoid those positions?
You might want to try Botviniks Qb3 idea. As a long time gruenfeld player it's one of the variations I prefer to avoid.
no i don't like it because it gives lot of activity and counterplay for black!
Maybe consider the Trompowsky?

Try the 4. cxd5 Nxd5 5. Bd2 lines. I think they are quite nice for black, and these lines bother me as a Grunfeld player.

@nourhene that's very weird, because Qb3 is consider to deny black's counterplay and activity. Not forcing you to play anything, but you should take a deeper look into a variation which is offered to you.
Also what the hell is the difference between positionnal and technical positions?
It seems like you're worried about openings to much. Players of your level should focus of chess principles, patterns and middlegame more.
