I like Unihedron's idea of having a random variant every game.
I had this on my mind too. Thanks Kimouu for putting it on here. First we need a marathon in each variant, and then maybe a multi-variant marathon. :)
A variants Marathon sounds great! A random variant selection would be very entertaining and inclusive of all players. Hope to see this become a reality!

One other possibility :
Each player set his preferred variants (list of priorities) and when 2 players are paired, the system chose the best variant for both.
5 minutes by game.
I'm 100% agreed with the idea. I hope Lichess do something about it :)
If it isn't to much work for Thibault and th team, maybe we could do both a variant marathon and a regular marathon for people who don't want variants.
What about Spring Variants Marathon ? :)
