Breaking the Silence

I think the USCF did the same. As far as I know, Ramirez did not fight this. if you get fired for false accusations, what would you do? would you hire a lawyer to sue her your employer? would you report the accusers to the police? would you hire a lawyer and sue them? Did Ramirez do any of that? did he start a go fund me?

> There may be a civil suit; there may be a criminal prosecution. they have different standards of proof, and the amount of evidence an employer needs to fire somebody is yet another standard. and still a fourth standards is people using their own judgement. which is what is happening here, and what Lichess is doing.

Dude! I'm in your team on this. I thought this would never happened after so many times I was poking at what you wrote.

Quite humbling experience. We nener know what life will bring. Thanks for your contribution in that thread!

I am not a woman myself, but if you talk to women or look at trustworthy polls, you will realize that most women have faced such situations at least once in their lives. To make matters worse, it is often hard to get support and justice after something like this happens. The reasons are numerous. Ranging from difficulties in proving to a lack of support from society, victim blaming, trauma, fear, and many more.

Sadly, for too many it was more than once.

Pure speculation and pure smoke, pure difamation and gossiping allowed and embraced by lichess in this forum violating their own TOS whenever they believe it is convenient under the shelter of free speech. Lichess exercises institutional violence whenever an idea or comment is not of their taste (just browsing this forum is hard evidence) and let go tons of crap if they think it is good for them, this lack of fair play and objectivity makes them lose all credibility. Let the official authorities with all the guarantees actuate upon request of the parties if they have something to report for real. This situation is going on in US a free country with all guarantees of a due process and developed enough to give all the opportunity to the alleged victims whoever they are, this is not going on in Afghanistan or some country in Africa or Iran where women do have a bad time without any opportunity of a defence and where the real abomination happens, I have never seen lichess standing up for any of that like they do it now why ? Lichess and this speculations, gossiping stain the board of chess, the involved parties go to Court but do not try to involve and use the associates of a chess website in a particular war with who knows what opaque interests behind the scene, opaque interests as opaque is lichess in many basic aspects of their own regulations in their own TOS, from opaque what can you expect? transparency ??? morever transparency demanded to other but not to themselves ! how do you call that? Let the authorities actuate, do not stain the board, the money from donations and efforts use them to improve the transparency of this site where there is a loooottt to improve, do not betray your donors and associates by jumping into ideologies strange to chess today is this pseudo-feminist move, what is in the menu tomorrow?, we the supporters of lichess engage into a chess website nothing else, for the rest the authorities, do not try to use me.

Thanks for proving that even you are sometimes lying. The question is do you believe in your onw lies like most are teenagers?

For the record I still think that. I stopped posting on here because quality of discourse gone down except for a few people. Good day to you sir.
