Opponent leaves, call it a draw vs. victory

For this proposed "abort button," would that simply be a button that would end the game, regardless of where it was during the gameplay, which would prevent any point exchange from occurring? I'm not sure if I would support that idea, as it would be pretty easy to abuse it. Any time someone was in a losing position, why not just hit the abort button?

If I'm misunderstanding the idea, will someone please clarify?
#6 I'm against aborting a game that has started since it can be abused. Aborting because you dislike the opening...

I think abort button is OK if disconnection has occured only.
Okay, in order to provide a better answer I will search...

* searching lila for "berserk", found ScoringSystem.scala
* searching ScoringSystem.scala for "draw", found "quickDraw"
* searching lila for "quickDraw", found:
def quickDraw = draw && turns.??(20 >)

I propose that if an opponent disconnects in under 20 turns (half-moves?) the "declare draw" button should instead be "declare abort".
#11 Thanks for the feedback. How does #6 differ from the circumstance or use case mentioned in #1?
#13 You commented on the abort button and suggested a takeback (game). Neither deals with the OP question more than #3. We can add #10, #14, #15, and #16.
Why not always show 3 buttons when a disconnection occur?

Declare win
Declare draw
Declare abort

The player trying to be fair can then always chose a fair option that doesn't punish him/her
The extra options seem to add unnecessary complexity. Why not simply prevent any point exchange in games where a decision to draw was made after disconnection?
#19 Draw always lead to rating point exchange. Rating system works like that
