Lichess Extras

There are several people that create these. I am one of them, I know Baluk does a lot of them, and at least a couple of others. Speaking for myself, I will often take requests, so if you have some particular style of board you are interested in let me know. Or if you've seen pieces around, if I can find a high enough quality version, I can convert them for you. I have a website where I do this kind of thing:

Yeah, visually this site and ChessTempo are miles ahead of everything else out there.

Did you? That does not surprise me. You obviously know what you're doing because I stand by what I said: ICC, Chess.com, FICS, PlayChess...they all look terrible compared to the visuals here on Lichess and over on CT.

I have a sub to CT, Chess.com and ICC and I'll be cancelling the sub to Chess.com and ICC now that I see what you guys have to offer here on Lichess. Lichess + ChessTempo is all anyone in the world of online chess would need right now.

The fact that you can get a game of any length 24/7 here + the fact that you can make the board and pieces on your screen almost actual size make this an unbelievably powerful training tool for improving players.
